Marc Collett.
I come together with associates from a range of disciplines – architects, social investment gurus, regeneration experts, accountants, researchers, arts practitioners – to deliver projects on behalf of clients.
I have worked in the arts, culture and creative industries sector for 30 years running organisations both as a CEO, project manager and as a Trustee and have delivered a wide range of projects as a consultant.
I have an earlier background in social housing which I am currently putting to good use working with the resurgent community-led housing movement. I also work on heritage and community buildings and as an advisor and business development consultant for community, charitable and commercial organisations. I work with community organisations on social investment strategies and am a community shares practitioner.
Susan Burns.
I have recently joined the partnership full-time after stepping down from 20 years’ experience of running Chol Theatre, a community theatre and arts charity based in Huddersfield and Sheffield. Before that I worked with a number of arts and housing initiatives in Hebden Bridge and London.
Current culture involvements include work with Kirklees Children’s Festival ‘Our Biennale’ as evaluator, Balbir Singh Dance Company as Company Manager, Imagine If Theatre as advisor and The Children’s Art School on fundraising strategies. I am passionate about people and communities and the role arts, culture and heritage can play in improving places. I am a director of Curious Motion, an arts and health CIC in Calderdale and have an MA in Creative Writing and am a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
Based in Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire, we have strong networks in the North and are available to work across the UK.
